Accidents happen. But it’s the joy of the adventur Accidents happen. But it’s the joy of the adventure! Our amazing guide, Colton, warned me about getting my hair caught in the grigri. The wind happened to pick up my hair as I was untying the safety knot and tied around the rope and into my rappelling gear. I hung out (literally) for a few minutes until Colton was able to safely get my couple on the ground so he can rappel down to lift me out. Even with my hair getting caught, this was such a fun experience and major lesson learned (I’m putting my hair in a beanie next time) and I cannot wait to do it again!!! Who wants to go rock climbing or rappelling with me?
