The Coronado Beach holds a special meaning to Victoria and Ashley. It is where A proposed to V and where they love to revisit every year for vacation. To have more special meaning at their favorite spot on the West coast beach I traveled to San Diego California to capture their engagement photos at Coronado Beach during sunset!
Coronado Beach Calfifornia Engagement Photos
This beautiful engagement session sits behind the beautiful Coronado Beach Resort in San Diego California. We parked on Ocean Boulevard for free parking and walked about 5 minutes to play in the sand.
The colors of the sky reflecting off the ocean felt like we were in a fairytale dream! The golden clouds and the sun bouncing off of the Coronado Beach created the perfect light for Victoria and Ashley during their engagement photos.
We played in the ocean (which was a little cold). Let the waves splash on us from the rocks covered in seashells. And got their white clothes a little dirty and covered in sand!
While the sun set during blue hour (when the sky looks like cotton candy) we ended V & A’s beach engagement photo session relaxing on the sand and enjoying the warm breeze before it got dark and too cold to play anymore.
One thing about Coronado Beach is – it is a very well known vacation spot in California. So if you were looking for some privacy during your beach engagement session you may not get the full beach to yourself. Some spots throughout the miles of sand have less of a crowd than others! We were very thankful to find a beautiful hang out spot near some rocks while we adventured.
We also went to La Jolla Cove the day after but there was a huge wall of sea fog that quickly flew in so we didn’t get as many photos we we wanted to there. But besides the fog and the large group of tourists I had a lot of fun exploring San Diego California and would definitely visit again!
