Allie and Zack’s wedding at the Mt. Hood Skibowl outside of Portland, Oregon was the perfect mix of adventure and personal touches. This Oregon wedding showcased the couple’s love for nature, creativity, and fun. From the stunning views of Mt. Hood to their unique details, every part of the day reflected their personalities.
Allie & Zack’s Mt. Hood Oregon Wedding
Their destination wedding brought loved ones together from all over the United States for an unforgettable experience. Guests were treated to a pre-ceremony cocktail hour at the base of the mountain, complete with appetizers and breathtaking mountain views.
Zack finished getting ready with his groomsmen at their airbnb while Allie, her mom and sister, got dressed in the Warming Hut at the top of the Mt. Hood skibowl. After Zack and his groomsmen took the ski lift to the ceremony spot, Allie and Zack shared a private first look outside the Warming Hut before reading their private vows.
Guests arrived to the ceremony via ski lift, adding an adventurous touch to the day. Their ceremony was surrounded beautifully with Mt. Hood as the background, green forest trees, and the historic Warming Hut. The floral arrangements by TableTops complemented the natural beauty perfectly, blending soft greens and bold colors with the mountain’s dramatic scenery.
Mt. Hood Skibowl Wedding Reception
During cocktail hour, guests enjoyed activities that showcased the couple’s fun-loving personalities. Cornhole competitions, a personalized alcoholic drink, Huckle-Louie Mules, and a temporary tattoo station. The custom bar sign featuring their dog, Louie, was a guest favorite and a unique detail that added to their unique celebration.
One of the most memorable moments of the day was the Mt. Hood Skibowl alpine slide. Allie and Zack boarded the alpine slide, laughing and racing down the mountain to their reception, celebrating in true adventurous fashion.
Their reception under the tent was just as vibrant, featuring a couch photo setup, vegan desserts, line dancing, and late night snacks. Allie and Zack even changed into sweatpants later in the evening, making their celebration as relaxed and fun as they are.
