Capturing love stories for couples who crave adventure and value intimate, meaningful moments in nature

Traveling Portland, the Oregon Coast, & beyond

you want more than just a wedding

you want an authentic, adventure-filled celebration that feels like you

You want a wedding day that’s centered around your experience and a location that fits your dream wedding ideas.

Where the focus isn’t on a big production, but the adventure of traveling to an epic destination and celebrating your marriage.

You want a day that resembles your love story and adventurous wedding vision. A day you can look back on and say, “I CAN’T BELIEVE WE DID THAT”.

This Is Your Adventure. No Rules, Just Real Moments

Whether you’re dreaming of hiking through Columbia River Gorge or having your ceremony at the coasts of Oregon, your wedding deserves to feel like you.

There’s no one-size-fits-all when it comes to celebrating your love.

  • Maybe adventure looks like hiking through a remote forest to exchange your vows next to a waterfall.
  • Maybe it looks like a first dance with your favorite people smiling and cheering you on.

Both are beautiful. Both are real. And both are worth capturing.

I’m not here to tell you how your wedding “should” look.

I’m here to support your vision, whatever adventure means to you.

This is about creating a day rooted in intention and filled with meaning. A day that reflects everything you’ve built together and everything you’re dreaming up for the future.

Because your story isn’t ordinary, and your wedding day shouldn’t be either.

“Kelcee is an outgoing, fun person who was a blast to work with!”

Kelcee and I worked a July destination wedding at Mt Hood Skibowl in Oregon. The venue has multiple locations for ceremony, reception, and a lot of moving parts, Kelcee was absolutely amazing to work with in keeping the wedding running smoothly. She went above and beyond throughout the 17 hour day. She had a second shooter as well as a videographer and was great at communication.

Common Questions about getting married in Oregon

I book weddings and elopements up to 16 months in advance. It is always best to book your Oregon wedding or elopement photographer, wedding planner, and other vendors as soon as possible! Contact me here to save your date on my calendar.

Eloping or having a wedding in Oregon can cost as low as $60 for just a marriage license or up to $75,000 if you’re wanting a bigger / traditional wedding experience. Here’s a blog with a wedding budget calculator to see how much your dream wedding will cost.

The best time to elope in Oregon is typically June – August or September – November. You can get married at any time of the year in Oregon but weather can be unpredictable depending on the season.

There is always a change of it raining in Oregon, it’s the PNW!

Weeks leading up to your wedding date I will be keeping an eye on the weather and road conditions and keep you updated on any changes that may affect your wedding plans.

Unless there is a major weather condition, road closures, or event that would make it unsafe to get married then we would continue with your wedding / elopement pre-planned backup location.

If you’re getting married at a venue, ask your venue what their rain policy & backup plans are for your wedding day.

That depends on a few factors; what you want to do during your wedding / elopement, how many guests you want to invite, and where you want to get married.

During our consult call we’ll go over your wedding vision and I can help decide how much coverage your day will need.

Here’s a link to my elopement packages to learn more. And here’s my wedding packages.

If you’re wanting to elope in Oregon I recommend no more than 20 guests. Any more than 20, a private venue or Airbnb is recommended.

Here’s some ideas on how to include your guests in your elopement.

Most locations in Oregon are state park land and do require a permit. Depending on where you’re getting married you may not need a permit. I’ll help you with the permit application process after finding the best place to elope in Oregon.

Heck yes! I believe a traditional wedding with your closest friends and family is just as meaningful as an elopement.

Some of my favorite Oregon wedding venues are the Mt. Hood Skibowl, Lakeside Gardens, and Capella by the Sea.

These are the most common questions couples ask me when planning their Oregon wedding / elopement. I am so happy to chat and answer any questions you may have to help make your wedding planning process less stressful.
