Tips for Choosing Your Wedding Accommodations in Sedona
Think About Getting Ready Photos
If you’re getting ready at an AirBnb or hotel instead of your Sedona Wedding Venue, consider a place with beautiful natural light and enough room for your wedding party, hair & makeup artists team, and your photographer (me!)
When searching for a place to stay in Sedona for your wedding, the vibes of your accommodation will be the vibes of your getting ready photos. Consider more neutral tones and natural lighting.
Consider Location
Sedona is a small town, but traffic can get busy — especially on weekends and holidays. Stay near your wedding venue or elopement ceremony site to avoid any travel delays.
Bonus points if it’s close to hiking trails or vortex spots you want to explore pre- or post-wedding day.
Make It an Experience
This isn’t just a wedding — it’s a celebration of your love in one of the most breathtaking places to get married in Arizona. Picking where you’re staying for your wedding is almost as important as choosing your wedding venue. It’s the place you’ll wake up on your wedding day and where you’ll come back to after you’re married.
Think outside of the box and consider really fun options like A-frames, cute AirBnbs, uniquely designed homes, or any kind of place that fits your personality and aesthetics.
Pick somewhere that you two will love spending time together.
Whether it’s a private casita, a spa retreat, or a modern Airbnb with a hot tub under the stars, choose a place that adds to your experience and feels like a true getaway.
Consider Your Guests
If you’re inviting guests, it’s thoughtful to include a few lodging suggestions at different price points. Some Sedona wedding venue resorts even offer room blocks or group discounts if you reach out in advance.
If you’re planning a Sedona elopement why not consider sharing a large house with your friends and family. Look for places with great common areas or private patios — perfect for a casual hangout or welcome dinner.
