Capturing love stories for couples who crave adventure and value intimate, meaningful moments in nature

Traveling Moab, Zion, & Beyond

you want more than just a wedding

you want an authentic, adventure-filled celebration that feels like you

You want a wedding day that’s centered around your experience and a location that fits your dream wedding ideas.

Where the focus isn’t on a big production, but the adventure of traveling to an epic destination and celebrating your marriage.

You want a day that resembles your love story and adventurous wedding vision. A day you can look back on and say, “I CAN’T BELIEVE WE DID THAT”.

This Is Your Adventure. No Rules, Just Real Moments

Whether you’re dreaming of hiking through Arches National Park or having your ceremony at the Bonneville Salt Flats, your wedding deserves to feel like you.

There’s no one-size-fits-all when it comes to celebrating your love.

  • Maybe adventure looks like rappelling down the side of a mountain to exchange your vows in a canyon.
  • Maybe it looks like a first dance with your favorite people smiling and cheering you on.

Both are beautiful. Both are real. And both are worth capturing.

I’m not here to tell you how your wedding “should” look.

I’m here to support your vision, whatever adventure means to you.

This is about creating a day rooted in intention and filled with meaning. A day that reflects everything you’ve built together and everything you’re dreaming up for the future.

Because your story isn’t ordinary, and your wedding day shouldn’t be either.

“Kelcee is such an amazing human who made taking pictures a very calming experience.”

I get a lot of anxiety usually worrying that I won’t like the way I look and not knowing how to pose but she made me and my wife comfortable. She’s also funny as hell and a beautiful personality to add to your wedding/elopement!

Common Questions about getting married in Utah

I book weddings and elopements up to 16 months in advance. It is always best to book your Utah wedding or elopement photographer, wedding planner, and other vendors as soon as possible! Contact me here to save your date on my calendar.

Eloping or having a wedding in Moab can cost as little as $400 for just a marriage license and permit or up to $75,000 if you’re wanting a bigger / traditional wedding experience. Here’s a blog with a wedding budget calculator to see how much your dream wedding will cost.

The best time to elope in Utah is typically March to April or August – November. You can get married at any time of the year in Utah but weather can be unpredictable depending on the season.

Weeks leading up to your wedding date I will be keeping an eye on the weather and road conditions and keep you updated on any changes that may affect your wedding plans.

Unless there is a major weather condition, road closures, or event that would make it unsafe to get married then we would continue with your wedding / elopement pre-planned backup location.

If you’re getting married at a venue, ask your venue what their rain policy & backup plans are for your wedding day.

That depends on a few factors; what you want to do during your wedding / elopement, how many guests you want to invite, and where you want to get married.

During our consult call we’ll go over your wedding vision and I can help decide how much coverage your day will need.

Here’s a link to my elopement packages to learn more. And here’s my wedding packages.

If you’re wanting to elope in Utah I recommend no more than 20 guests. Any more than 20, a private AirBnB or wedding venue is recommended.

Here’s some ideas on how to include your guests in your elopement.

Most locations in Salt Lake City don’t require a permit, but BLM land and National Parks do require a permit. I’ll help you with the permit application process after finding the best place to elope in Utah.

Heck yes! I believe a traditional wedding with your closest friends and family is just as meaningful as an elopement.

My favorite Moab wedding venue is the Red Earth Venue in Moab.

These are the most common questions couples ask me when planning their Utah wedding / elopement. I am so happy to chat and answer any questions you may have to help make your wedding planning process less stressful.
